At Monica’s house — Monica was working on some fashion designs; she wanted to get ahead of all the fashion competitions happening. There was a knock on the door, and she went to answer it. It was Jill.

“Jill. Why are you here? You’re the competition.”

“I’ve been thinking about what’s best for my company. I want you to join me.”

“What about Frida? Does she agree with this?”

“This is my decision. I'm running this company.”

“Are you pushing out Frida and Cynthia? Do you know who you’re up against?”

“I can handle it. So, what do you say? You’ll have your own designer line and 50% of the company.”

“I’ll let you know my decision in the morning.”

“Alright, I look forward to it.” Jill said and left as Monica picked up her cellphone.

“We need to talk about your business partner,” Monica said.

At Ivy’s house with Richard — Richard was reflecting on the last few years in Paris when Ivy came in.

“Where did you go? I need a drink and a friend. Richard, I'm not really ready to just move on from everything that happened—faking your death—I'm going to need some time.”

“I understand that. Was there anyone you were seeing while I was gone?” Richard asked.

“No, I was busy with Creations.”

“How is it going? I saw the press conference with Frida.”

“Yes, she wants to open her own fashion business.”

“We can't have that.”

“Richard, I know your secret too! You used my company to land money.”

“It wasn't hard—I’ve been doing that for years,” Richard said.

At Essentially - Cynthia and Frida were talking. "Cynthia, we haven't talked much about what happened with Chanell. Are you handling it okay?" Frida asked. “Not really, my daughter was raped and is pregnant. She's going to ruin her life. She's too young to be a mother," Cynthia replied. "Chanel will have the support she needs; we will be there for her," Frida said. "Yes, we will. Do you forgive Daddy for faking his death?" Cynthia asked. “I'm going to try. I want a better relationship with him, like you," Frida responded. "Daddy and I have our bumps too," she added. "Yes, I wish you could have told us that our father was alive," Frida said.

At Ruth's bar-Ivy was having a drink and talking to Ruth. "Do you still love Richard?" Ruth asked. “Yes, I mourned for him for five years, and he was alive the whole time. I have a feeling Richard is hiding something else. I'm going to find out," Ivy replied. "How?" Ruth asked. "Oh, I have my ways. Thank you, Ruth, for listening to me. You've always been a great friend to me," Ivy said. "Always," Ruth answered. Ivy paid the bill then left.

At Jill's—Jill was at home when there was a knock on the door. It was Diane. "Jill, why did you call me?" Diane asked. “I need to do some digging into Richard Cane. Why did he fake his death?" Jill asked. “Why?" Diane questioned. "I need to have the company to myself. I need to get rid of Cynthia and Frida," Jill said. "Why do you want to hire me?" Diane asked. "Because you are a great reporter, and I know you have issues with Cynthia," Jill replied. "Yes, I do. She treats my brother horribly," Diane responded. "Alright, I will look into it," Diane said.

At Lavish Chateau, Phillip was in his office, needing time to process the fact that his daughter was raped and became pregnant. He hated that she ran to Paris for her career and to escape Cynthia, whom he blamed. Chanell came in and said, “Daddy, can we talk? You haven't said much about my news. I know it's a lot.” “Yes, it is. Are you sure about going through with this pregnancy?” Phillip asked. “Yes, I am. It’s not the baby’s fault what happened to me.” “No, it's not. I wish you had never left and gone to Paris.” “It's not Paris's fault that this happened to me; it just happened. It’s not Mother’s fault either. I don't understand why you both married each other if neither of you can stand being around each other,” Chanel asked. “Before my father died, he borrowed money from Richard, who said my father didn't have to pay him back. He promised to come back with a request later, but that never happened. My father died, your grandfather. Richard came to collect, and he didn't like that I was dating Frida. He wanted me to marry Cynthia.” “So, you paid off your father's debt by marrying your mother?” Chanel asked. “Yes.” “But why? What was the reason?” “Who knows? Richard loves to play God! Do you think I want to name your brother RJ?” Phillip yelled. “Well, Daddy, why are you still with mother? Don’t you deserve to be happy?” Chanel asked.

At Essentially Office - Frida and Cynthia sat at their separate desks. "We have a lot to do. We need to get this company up and running," Frida said. "Yes, we will, but can we really trust Genevieve and Jill? You know they have a past with me." "Cynthia, I love you, but you have a past with everyone in this town." "Yes, I know I have my issues, but why did Jill and Genevieve agree to do business with you? You don't need them; you have me," Cynthia replied. “They came to me to help me run this business against you." "See, why don't we just run it together? Just us Crane women. We will go up against Mother," Cynthia suggested. “How do we get Jill and Genevieve out of this?" Frida asked. "Oh, everybody has something to hide," Cynthia said.

At Jill's—Jill was home, thinking about destroying Cynthia. She was always jealous of her and wanted everything she had. She picked up a picture of Cynthia. "Taking over the business is just the beginning of my revenge against you!" Jill said as she ripped the picture.

Ruth was working at her bar, hoping to retire someday. Running a bar was getting to her, but it helped support her raising her daughters, who wanted a luxury lifestyle. As Ivy came in, they were oddly best friends. "Ruth, I need a drink, anything strong, and my best friend," Ivy said. She liked talking to Ruth; she kept her ground and gave her great advice. "It's about Richard." “Yes, I know I should be happy that my husband is alive, but he stays away so long I feel betrayed by him and Cynthia," Ivy said.

At Lavish Chateau Hotel, Phillip was talking to his sister and really wanted to tell her about Chanel; he needed someone to talk to. “Something bad happened to my little girl,” Phillip said with a sad look. Diane had only seen her brother look that sad once before—in the day their parents died—and it was when he had to tell her. “No, are you saying?” Diane asked as Chanel walked in, and Phillip looked at her. "Chanel, it's good to see you home. Do you need to talk to someone?” Diane asked. “I didn't tell Diane,” she just figured it out,” Phillip said. “It's okay, Aunt Diane is family. Daddy, we haven't talked much since I’ve been back. I'm pregnant. I was wondering how you feel about it?” Chanel asked. “Now isn't the time to talk about it here. I have work to do,” Philip said as he left. “That's just your father's way of coping with everything. Why don't we sit and talk?” Diane asked, and they sat down. “Philip has always been my protector when we were kids, especially after our parents died. And when he became a father, he did the same with you and your siblings,” Diane said. “I hate that it happened to me and that I'm pregnant, but what else can I do? I don't know if I can follow through with an abortion,” Chanel said. “It's not an easy choice to make. I’ve been there,” Diane replied. “You had an abortion?” “Yes, it happened right when my career was taking off. Chanel, you are not alone in this. I think it's good that you came home.” “Me too,” she responded. ”

At Jill-Jill and Genevieve were discussing pushing Frida and Cynthia out of the business. "There's a reason why Richard would fake his death. He may be a ruthless man, but he loves his family. We need to hire a PI to find out why he came back after all this time," Jill said. “Yes, he may be a lot of things, but Richard loves his family. We need to get started now." "Yes." 

At Ivy/Richard—Ivy wanted an explanation for why her daughter Cynthia helped her father fake his death. "I asked Cynthia to help me." "Yes, Daddy did; all I did was help get the pilot to fake the plane crash," Cynthia said. “So you could of come back sooner,. “Why come back now—after all this time? I don't buy it one bit that you miss us!" Ivy yelled as her granddaughters entered. "Grandfather came back because of me! He helped me in Paris," Chanell said. "With what?" Ivy asked. "Chanell, are you sure?" Cynthia asked. “Yes, I am. In Paris, I had someone follow me all the time, and I never knew who it was until I needed him. I was at a photoshoot, and the photographer attacked me. I grabbed something and killed him. Grandfather came in and helped me; he was the person following me," Chanell explained, trying not to cry.

"Chanell, I'm sorry that happened to you," Ivy said.

"Yes, we are sorry."

"Thanks. I'm pregnant from that, and I decided to keep it."

"Are you sure?" Ivy asked.

"Yes."

"We will support you. We’re supposed to support each other now—Cynthia, Frida, and Victoria. You all will work together in creation," Richard said.

"Yes, they will," Ivy agreed.

At Ivy/Richard - Richard explained to his family why he was pretending to be dead, and Chanel told the family that she was raped and pregnant. "Chanel, you will be fine. We all will," Frida said. "I saw your press conference the other day; you had the chance to run your own fashion company," Richard said. “Why do you care? The fashion business is my mother’s business," Frida replied. "Yes, it is, but you and your sisters have always worked together. Frida, I understand you want freedom, but this isn't the way to do it. You will end up wanting your own business and working with your mother," Richard added. “Richard, Frida and Cynthia want to work at their own companies. They've named it Essentially. I'm not going to stop them from running their dream jobs, and Chanel is going to be their model. I will be fine. Now, why don't we have a nice lunch together?" Ivy asked. “Mother, I have meetings to attend. We need to get Essentially up and running," Frida responded. "Yes, we do," Cynthia said. “I need to rest. Daddy, I'm glad you're home and that you saved me," Victoria added. “I know I haven't always been a great father, but I do love you girls," Richard said. “We know, Daddy," Cynthia replied as they left. "Well, that gives us time to talk," Ivy said. "Yes, I guess so," Richard agreed.

At Lavish Chateau, Philip was working when Diane came by. "So, Philip, do you have time for your little sister?" Diane asked. “Diane, are you here to try to get the scoop on my father-in-law's return?" Philip asked. "Yes. So, where was Richard all this time? This would be a story that could break my career," Diane said. “I don't know what's going on. I'm sure it's being discussed right now as we speak. Why are you here then? I wasn't invited," Philip responded. "Philip, what is going on? You look sad," Diane added. "It's Chanel," Philip said.
