At Cynthia and Philip — Cynthia was looking at a photo of herself with Chanel when she was a baby, admiring how beautiful she looked as a little girl. Cynthia knew she was meant to be a star and to have a career in modeling, even bigger than she already did. Cynthia loved her children; she just had a hard time showing it. Viveenne handled the business side of the fashion industry and would be successful in that, while Richard Jr. would excel at owning and managing hotels. She was still reminiscing when Philip came in. "Cynthia, is everything alright?" Philip asked; he could always tell when something was upset with his wife. "Yes! It's about Chanel," she said. "Is she okay?" Philip asked. At Jill's — Jill and Genevieve came in. "Jill, you never told me how you found out about Chanel's rape," Genevieve asked, as Jill had a flashback of Philip in her bedroom. They were having a secret love affair, and Philip was on the phone talking about Chanel's rape. "Jill, where did you go?" Genevieve asked. “I've been having an affair with Philip. He told me." "You and Philip!" Genevieve asked. “Yes! I should tell Cynthia; it will destroy her!" Jill yelled. "Jill, you are not thinking clearly. He can destroy you too!" Genevieve yelled.
