At Lavish Chateau, Phillip just walked away from his father-in-law, wishing Richard would have stayed dead like he wanted.
Richard saw Ivy with her sisters and aunt and approached them. “Good evening, ladies,” Richard said. “We’re glad you’re alive for our niece and Ivy’s sake, but you better not hurt them,” Stella said as she got up.
“I will not, I promise,” Richard replied. “Ivy, this was nice, but I have to go.” Vera added, “Me too,” and Nora nodded as they left while Richard sat down.
“So, what was the meeting with the Winthrop sisters about?” Richard asked.
“My sisters and my aunt are very close to me, you know. We only had each other since our parents died,” Ivy replied.
“Yeah. So, what was that with Phillip?” she asked.
At Philip’s office, Phillip was on the phone about a deal for another hotel he bought; it’s near the piers and will be different from the hotel he just finished. He had just closed the deal when Diane came in. Phillip looked at his sister, knowing she was disappointed with him as she closed the door.
“Phillip, why Jill?” Diane asked. "It happened after a fight with my wife, and it just keeps going.”
“Jill is hurt. She loves you. Phillip, you need to stop hurting innocent women and either work on your marriage with Cynthia or just end it.”
“You are right.”
